Our 'Thanksgiving Day'

As I may have mentioned before, we had planned a Thanksgiving dinner for some of our English friends. So here are a few photos from the day:

I told Chris that cleaning the turkey (i.e. removing the innards) was definately a "man's job" and so he dutifully went to work on the bird.

Doesn't the table look festive! And I was able to find real cranberries which are surrounding the candles.

The meal was served buffet-style.

After dinner we went for a walk in the park and came back for some pumpkin pie and pecan pie. They went down really well! Of course, we played some games to, including a rousing game of Cranium as seen in the above photo!

One couple had to leave early, but the other stayed a while so we all had some more pie and watched Elf to get us in the Christmas mood!

I want to put up the tree now!
