So what did we do on our vacation? Well, in the time-honoured family tradition we bought some wigs and dressed up!

Chris as a surfer dude

Amy (perhaps a slightly older version?)
Well actually the wigs were for some auditions for our 'rents upcoming production of South Pacific. They were getting into character.

Having both grown up with pets, we miss not being able to have any in our rented house. So we made the most of the animals up there.

Kelso, the farm dog, who comes through the cat flap of their house and has fathered many children (he can smell a she-dog in heat from miles away). Most recently he produced half Bulldog, half Jack Russell offspring. Weird.

Poor Tibby was suffering from an ear infection and kept walking into the walls as she was so dizzy. So she spent most of the time laying down. Awwww...

This is Jackie, the Jackdaw who just flies in when she feels like it, mostly when she's hungry! She enjoys tortillas, wet dog food, pooing and pecking people's eyes and ears.

Oh yes, and here are the mice that live in the walls.

This photo was taken in Edinburgh. If you take a close look, you'll realise the driver and his passenger are actually border collies. It was so funny, because it looked like they thought they were human!

We went on a whisky tour in Edinburgh and got free whisky glasses!
We spent a few days near Perth and did touristy things.

This was the view from our Bed & Breakfast of the Firth of Tay.

This was taken in the medevil town of Falkland which was very picturesque.

Falkland Palace

This reminded me of New England - the place that I am from!

We visited Scotland's not-so-secret nuclear bunker - scary.

We spent our evenings playing Trivial Pursuit - the girls always won!
All in all it was a nice week.
